IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT YOU READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE PURCHASING A TICKET TO THE NEW ORLEANS SWING DANCE FESTIVAL & THE ULTIMATE LINDY HOP SHOWDOWN 2010.

Terms and Conditions

Ticket Sales

  • Festival schedule and venues are subject to change. Keep checking back or join our email list for updates.
  • Ticket prices will increase on the 17th of August and again on September 1st and 17th.
  • Online sales will close on Sept 24th 2010.
  • Due to limited space in certain venues, WE EXPECT WEEKEND TICKETS TO SELL OUT.
  • Weekend tickets include all festival dances from Thursday-Sunday, all late night parties, and all workshops.
  • Individual evening dance and class tickets will be sold in September and at the door ONLY if the festival does not sell out. We cannot guarantee there will be tickets available at the door.
  • There are absolutely NO REFUNDS on any ticket for any reason. This includes weekend packages, single events, competitions, etc etc etc. If you cannot attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person.
  • Due to high production costs, there are no discounts for those traveling from outside the United States.
  • Weekend ticket prices expire at midnight, Eastern US Time

Video & Photography

  • By purchasing a ticket to The New Orleans Swing Dance Festival & The Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown you are agreeing to be photographed and video taped.
  • Sale of or use of photography or video of any part of The New Orleans Swing Dance Festival & The Ultimate Lindy Hop Showdown is strictly prohibited.
  • If you are planning to videotape or take photographs you will be required to check-in with the festival staff, sign a release, & will be given a pass.
  • Videotaping is allowed in all venues but will require a video pass. Video-taping without a pass is STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Homestay

  • In order to qualify for local housing you must first register for the festival and purchase a weekend ticket.
  • Because space is extremely limited, we highly recommend staying in the official festival hotel, French Quarter Chateau LeMoyne if you can. Make reservations ASAP. They will sell out quick.

Competitions

  • Competitors must purchase a weekend ticket before signing up for contests. Registrations for competitions without a weekend ticket will not be honored.
  • Contest entry fees are non-refundable.
